Mahira Khan celebrates 15 years of Humsafar

Mahira Khan has marked 15 years of Humsafar with a heartfelt tribute to the drama and its fans, sharing a video that connects her iconic character Khirad with her latest role as Billo in Mitti De Baway.

In her Instagram post, Khan reflected on 15 years of her career and thanked fans she described as her “most precious Humsafars.” She also noted the coincidence of Mitti De Baway airing around the same time of year as Humsafar did in 2011.

The television drama Humsafar, based on Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel and co-starring Fawad Khan, became one of Pakistan’s most widely recognized television dramas. Khan’s portrayal of Khirad remains among her best-known performances.

Khan is currently appearing opposite Wahaj Ali in Mitti De Baway, where she plays Billo, a spiritual leader whose past is intertwined with Ali’s character, Baala. The drama has been generating attention through its teasers and storyline.

The 15th anniversary of the iconic television drama comes during a significant month for Khan, who also announced her pregnancy during her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month.
