Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has advised people of the province to hit bricks on the head of the government officers, who ask for bribes in return for public work.

The inciting remarks were passed by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader during a corner meeting in the Syed Alliyan village of Dera Ismail Khan.

The video of the controversial remarks went viral on social media, drawing criticism from the netizens.

In the viral video, KP CM could be seen suggesting hitting a brick on the head of the bribe-taking officers.

CM Gandapur, in the video, also gave a reference to the Holy Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Hadith regarding the giver and acceptor of bribes.

"Tell them [corrupt officers] that the bribe-giver and the bribe-taker will end up in hell," he said.

"Never complain to me that someone is asking for a bribe," said the former federal minister.

"Strike bribe-seeker with brick on the head and then tell his son, you saved his father from hell," PTI founder Imran Khan's loyal added.

Earlier in 2022, CM KP made headlines when he made sexist remarks against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) seniour vice-president Maryam Nawaz during a political gathering in Gilgit-Baltistan's Shigar.

“She is beautiful, I will speak the truth. But listen to this as well — she spent tens of millions on surgeries during Nawaz Sharif’s two governments, using your tax money to fix herself," Gandapur said in front of the large public gathering.

"If I pick anyone from the crowd and spend just a little bit of taxpayer money on them, then they will also turn into Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise," he added.

Following his sexist remarks, political analysts, workers, and experts lashed out at Gandapur, demanding an apology for the language used by him.

However, he never issued an apology nor retracted from his misogynist remarks.
