The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has ruled out the possibility of monsoon rains in Sindh for now, saying no monsoon system is currently expected to affect the province.
According to the Met Office, most parts of Sindh are likely to remain hot and humid today, while isolated areas of Karachi, the coastal belt and Tharparkar may receive light drizzle.
In Karachi, partly cloudy and humid weather is expected over the next three days, with chances of drizzle during the morning and night. The maximum temperature is likely to remain between 32°C and 34°C.
The PMD said Sindh could receive below-normal rainfall during August, as no monsoon system is currently seen affecting the province.
