Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has taken notice of complaints regarding the MDCAT 2026 in Sindh and directed the relevant authorities to submit an inquiry report within 15 days.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Health, the Sindh government and the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) will review complaints concerning the examination amid questions over the transparency of its conduct in the province.

The minister said that several complaints regarding the MDCAT had emerged on social media, while public representatives had also expressed concern over the situation.

The inquiry will compare the results, marks and pass rates of different MDCAT examination centres and examine any unusual or significant variations in the results, according to the ministry.

Attendance sheets, seating plans and centre records will also be examined as part of the inquiry.

The ministry said that complaints regarding examination irregularities, malpractice and alleged leakage of the question paper would also be reviewed. Responsibility would be determined in cases of administrative negligence or technical problems.

The PMDC will provide all records related to the conduct of the examination and its results to the inquiry, the statement added.
