Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi meet in Adiala Jail for 30–35 minutes

A meeting between incarcerted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi was arranged in Adiala Jail on Tuesday, media reports said, citing sources.

No family member or lawyer was allowed to meet the former prime minister on Tuesday. However, the reports said that a weekly meeting between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi did take place later.

The couple reportedly spent around 30 to 35 minutes together, during which they inquired about each other’s well-being.

Meanwhile, Aleema Khan staged a sit-in near the Gorakhpur checkpoint close to Adiala Jail late into the night, along with other family members, after being denied permission to meet him.
