Govt to induct young development fellows with Rs90,000 monthly stipend

The Ministry of Planning and Development has announced the induction of the next cohort of Young Development Fellows (YDFs) under its flagship programme for the youth of Pakistan to have "first hand experience in public policy & development."
Sharing an advertisement in this regard on X, Planning and Development Minister Ahsan Iqbal said that the flagship programme will offer the youth of Pakistan first hand experience in public policy and development.
"This highly competitive programme seeks to attract the brightest recent graduates with a passion for public service and national development," he wrote.
"We strongly encourage outstanding young professionals to apply. Selection will be made strictly on merit, and any attempt to seek recommendation or influence will be considered a disqualification."

As per the advertisement, young graduates, between the age of 21 and 30 years, are eligible to apply for the programme.
They must hold a Master's degree or 16 years of qualification from a reputed foreign or local university in the relevant field with GPA of 3.2.
Selected YDFs will receive a monthly stipend of Rs90,000.
