Foreign doctors may be consulted for Imran Khan’s medical examination: Govt sources

The possibility of having former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan examined by foreign doctors is also being considered.

According to details, the Supreme Court today ordered that PTI founder Imran Khan be shifted to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment and directed that he remain there until the next hearing.

Following the Supreme Court’s decision, authorities are now also considering arranging a medical examination for Imran Khan by foreign doctors.

Government sources said that if Imran Khan’s family members are not satisfied, foreign doctors may also be invited to Pakistan to assist with his treatment.

Earlier today, during a hearing concerning Imran Khan’s health and meetings with him, the Supreme Court ordered that he be transferred to Shifa International Hospital the same day.

Justice Shahid Waheed, who headed the three-member bench, observed that according to the medical report presented before the court, all of Imran Khan’s vital body organs were showing signs of complications.

Along with ordering his transfer to Shifa International Hospital, the Supreme Court also directed PTI not to politicize the former prime minister’s health.
