The social media team of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has gone all out against its coalition partner, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), lashing out over Sindh’s governance issues and trading barbs online.

The rift began when Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched a verbal onslaught against the PPP after Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari proposed utilising the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) to assist flood-affected people in South Punjab.

The suggestion irked CM Maryam, who termed it an attempt to politicise human suffering and sow division within the province.

The dispute has now escalated into a full-blown public fallout. Leaders from both parties are hurling sharp remarks at each other, with the PPP demanding an apology from the Punjab Chief Minister, a call that was flatly dismissed.

Meanwhile, the PML-N’s social media team has stepped in, sharing videos and posts highlighting Karachi’s deteriorating infrastructure and civic problems. They mocked the PPP’s governance record and amplified criticism against its rule in Sindh.
