The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has offloaded three female passengers bound for Germany after detecting suspected fake educational documents, exposing an alleged student visa fraud network.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the passengers identified as Nida, Gulnaz, and Aqsa were stopped during immigration clearance at Jinnah International Airport.

Nida and Gulnaz were travelling on German student visas, while Aqsa held a German residence permit. During questioning, both student visa holders failed to provide satisfactory details about their academic background or study programmes in Germany and allegedly admitted they had not studied at any college or university in Pakistan.

Investigators further revealed that Aqsa had been living in Germany for the past 10 years and was allegedly involved in facilitating visa processing, blocked accounts, and preparation of academic documents.

FIA officials said suspicious mark sheets, academic records, signatures, and related material were recovered from Aqsa’s mobile phone, suggesting the preparation of forged documents.

The agency also identified a Karachi-based agent who allegedly charged Rs150,000 per passenger for arranging fake educational documents.

All three passengers have been transferred to FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi for further legal proceedings, while investigations are ongoing.
