Bushra Bibi shifted to hospital for eye treatment

PTI founder Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi has been shifted to a private hospital for eye treatment, media reports said on Wednesday, citing sources.

According to the reports, a medical team conducted an initial examination at Adiala Jail before recommending her transfer for specialized care.

They said that Bushra Bibi had earlier undergone an eye procedure, after which she was examined multiple times by doctors within the jail premises. However, due to ongoing discomfort and the need for a comprehensive medical assessment, she has now been moved to hospital.

Further tests and treatment are expected, while doctors have also advised a possible second phase of surgery.

It may be recalled that on April 17, Bushra Bibi underwent surgery after complaining of impaired vision in her right eye. She was subsequently shifted back to jail following the procedure.
