Rajab Butt’s ex-wife seeks Rs700,000 monthly maintenance, return of dowry worth Rs8.7m

Emaan Fatima, the former wife of YouTuber Rajab Butt, has moved a guardian court seeking monthly maintenance for their son and the recovery of dowry articles she says were not returned after their separation.

The court has issued a notice to the YouTuber to submit his response by October 30, according to reports. In her petition, Fatima alleged that Butt asked her to leave their home a few months after their wedding and later sent her a divorce notice. She maintained that the divorce had not yet taken effect.

She said that her parents had provided dowry worth Rs8.792 million at the time of the marriage, but the items remained with Butt’s family. She has requested a court order for their return.

The petition also states that the couple have a son, Kivan, whose expenses Rajab Butt has allegedly not been paying. Fatima claimed that the YouTuber earns crores of rupees each month.

She has sought Rs500,000 per month for her son’s maintenance and Rs200,000 for herself. Rajab Butt and Fatima married in 2024, and their wedding attracted widespread attention on social media.

Their relationship later came under public scrutiny after Aon Sheikh accused Butt of cheating on Fatima while she was pregnant. The couple welcomed their son, Kivan Sultan, in September 2025.

Butt subsequently said during a podcast appearance that he intended to end the marriage and would send Fatima a divorce notice. She later posted the notice on her Instagram story, describing the emotional toll the situation had taken on her and their son.
