“It was a mistake,” Kubra Khan on item song cameo in ‘Superstar’ movie

Prolific actor Kubra Khan revealed an intriguing aspect of her item song performance in the movie ‘Superstar,’ expressing a strong aversion to such numbers.

In a recent interview, she emphasised her dislike for both the song itself and the revealing clothing she was required to wear for the performance.

"I must ask for forgiveness; I made a mistake. I was unaware that it was an item song," Kubra Khan stated when questioned about her item song performance.

Elaborating on the context of her performance, Kubra Khan revealed that she wasn't fully aware of the nature of her performance. 

Despite having agreed without knowing the specific details, she deeply regretted her decision later on.

"I was informed that I had to do a song for the film 'Superstar.' They mentioned it's a cameo, and I would be performing alongside Bilal Ashraf. However, upon arrival, I questioned myself, 'Why am I here?' They also asked about the size of the ghagra choli."

Kubra Khan mentioned that she refused to don excessively revealing attire,

"There was a scene where boys were whistling at me, and I had to make an entry," Kubra Khan explained regarding her misguided decision. Expressing her dissatisfaction with the choice, she added that she cried while filming the scene.
