Renowned actor Mikaal Zulfiqar reflected on his work experience in Bollywood, saying that while he had positive interactions with artists and the general public, he observed duplicity among Indians.

He recently appeared in an interview where he shared insights into his career, personal relationships, and the driving force behind his professional success.

In response to a question about his Bollywood endeavors, Mikaal said it was a pleasant experience. However, "only after working there did I realise that it is not a place where one should work."

According to him, fair treatment and equal respect for artists will enhance the experience of cross-border collaboration.

During his career, the Sang-e-Mar Mar actor worked with multiple Indian artists, producers, and directors, and had a positive working relationship with them.

"The local population also showed a great deal of respect and love," he noted.

Despite his pleasant working experience, he said, “I feel Indians are two-faced. They often act differently in front of you than behind your back."

Mikaal made his Bollywood debut in 2007 with the crime thriller film Godfather. He starred in the Indian films Shoot on Sight, U R My Jaan, and Baby.

When asked about a project he regrets turning down, the Jaisay Aapki Marzi actor mentioned Khuda Kay Liye. The film, directed by Shoaib Mansoor, offered him a role which he declined.

Mikaal said he transitioned from modeling to acting because he found the former insufficiently challenging.

"Since acting requires a lot of effort to bring emotions to the screen, I decided to pursue it as a career," he explained.
