Renowned singer Sara Raza Khan criticised Aima Baig and Mehwish Hayat's singing abilities, stating that their vocals rely heavily on autotune.

Sara Raza Khan recently appeared on a private TV channel where she discussed the vocal talent of singers and actors.

During the show, the melody queen was asked if she had ever pretended to appreciate someone's poor singing and which contemporary singers she considered to be vocally deficient.

Sara replied that she doesn't mince her words and directly tells individuals who lack vocal prowess that they might consider other forms of entertainment besides singing, “even if it might offend someone.”

“If we take away the option of autotune, then Aima Baig is not a singer,” she added, noting that there are many such names in the industry.

She furthered on, “If I were in a position to create a film, I would definitely hire Mehwish Hayat for an item song, but I would never ask her to sing.”

During the show, Sara reminisced about her time in India, where she participated in singing competitions like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and Sur Kshetra.

As the only Pakistani female contestant, Sara felt pressured because the Indian contestants were highly trained vocalists. However, she always managed to surprise the judges with her performances.
