Ducky Bhai reaches home after being released from prison: reports

YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has reportedly returned home after being released from jail on bail in a case pertaining to the promotion of illegal online gambling applications.

On Monday, the Lahore High Court granted him post-arrest bail against a surety bond of Rs1 million. After completion of legal formalities, the YouTuber was allowed to leave jail today, reports said, adding that he has arrived home.

Ducky Bhai, who was arrested on August 17, spent nearly five months in custody.

The case was lodged by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) after an inquiry was initiated earlier this year following information that various digital content creators were encouraging the public to use gambling apps for personal financial gain.

According to the prosecution, they persuaded their followers to put money into these platforms and subsequently suffered losses.

The complaint filed against Rehman listed several betting applications he was accused of endorsing, including Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365 and B9 Game.

Investigators cited 27 links to his YouTube content as evidence, though a number of those videos are no longer accessible.
