Dr Nabiha’s interview on purdah goes viral

Social media influencer and psychologist Dr Nabiha Ali Khan, who has recently been in the news for her marriage, has claimed that she is a veiled woman and even veils in front of her brother at home.

A short video of her podcast interview went viral on social media, in which she was seen discussing her practice of veiling.

In the viral video, Nabiha Ali Khan stated that she veils extensively at home, even in front of her brother-in-law and her brother. She explained that she veils as soon as she sees a plumber or any man coming to the house for work, adding that she does so “with a vengeance.”

Nabiha Ali Khan also clarified, “I do not veil only on the screen; people see me only on the screen.”

Recently, Nabiha Ali Khan’s wedding videos and pictures also went viral, and she faced criticism over her remarks about her bridal dress, jewelry, and singing at Maulana Tariq Jamil’s house during her nikah ceremony.

Following the backlash, she revealed on a TV program that she had been so upset by people’s criticism that she had even considered getting a divorce.
