Dr Nabiha alleges 'mental torture' after 2 months of marriage with Haris Khokhar

Rifts have surfaced in the two-month-old marriage of psychologist and motivational speaker Dr Nabiha Ali Khan and social media influencer Haris Khokhar, after the TV host publicly alleged "mental torture."

Appearing on a Ramazan transmission show, Dr Nabiha became emotional while sharing details of the difficulties she says she has been facing since the wedding.

“I cannot go out with my husband. He doesn’t give me time because he says his parents will feel bad. Why did he marry me if he never intended to give me time?” Dr Nabiha said.

Dr Nabiha maintained that she had consistently tried to fulfill her responsibilities toward her in-laws and worked hard to maintain harmony in the household. However, she claimed disputes arise frequently, especially when extended family members become involved.

"I want to take tough decision as I can no longer put up with mental torture," she said.

She further emphasised that a husband should stand by his wife and protect the sanctity of the marriage rather than allowing external influence to damage the relationship. Dr Nabiha also shared that she has quietly left her husband's home amid the ongoing tensions.

Haris Khokhar has responded to the allegations made by his wife, Dr Nabiha Ali Khan.

In a video statement, Haris Khokhar said that Dr Nabiha is “trapped in delusion, which cannot be cured.” He added that there were no serious disagreements between them and that she appeared happier with him than at her parental home.
