'Dil uchaat hogaya': Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar ‘heartbroken’ at Saba Qamar’s dressing at Lux Style Awards

Renowned playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar recently criticised Lollywood diva Saba Qamar, stating that he would never write a book on her due to her choice of clothing.

Speaking on Express Entertainment’s ‘The Talk Talk Show,’ hosted by Hassan Choudary, the ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho' scriptwriter expressed his unfiltered opinions on a range of topics.

During the show the host asked the potential title of Khalil-ur-Rehman’s book on actresses, if he were to write one in the future. 

The host immediately mentioned Saba Qamar after posing the question.

Qamar responded with a bitter tone, saying, "I will never write."

The host, surprised by this response, sought clarification, to which Khalil-ur-Rehman responded, "Lux Style Awards mein Saba Qamar ki dressing dekh kar dil uchaat hogaya [I was heartbroken when I saw her inappropriate dress at the Lux Style Awards]."

This viral clip resonated with social media users, who appreciated someone addressing what they perceived as the inappropriate attire of showbiz actresses during this year's Lux Style Awards ceremony.

While others are condemning Khalil-ur-Rehman for his unwarranted moral policing of women.
