Nyla Raja responds to affair rumours with cricketer Imad Wasim

Instagram influencer Nyla Raja has publicly addressed the swirling speculation linking her to Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim amid rumors of his alleged marital troubles with wife Sania Ashfaq.

In a strongly-worded statement posted on her Instagram, Raja dismissed the allegations as “baseless” and expressed frustration over being dragged into what she described as a “deeply personal matter” that has “absolutely nothing to do” with her.

“How on earth can a simple, harmless story lead to someone’s divorce?” she asked, referring to the viral video that sparked the controversy.

The clip, allegedly showing Imad walking alongside a woman believed to be Raja, was filmed outside a glasses store and has since fueled widespread speculation online.

Raja clarified that the footage was originally posted on her own public Instagram story and that it was taken during a routine, public outing. “Whoever recorded it chose to zoom in on just one angle,” she noted, adding that others were present at the time.

Urging media and followers to refrain from targeting women with unfounded assumptions, Raja wrote, “At the end of the day, I’m also a woman. Please be mindful.”

As of now, neither Imad Wasim nor his wife Sania Ashfaq has issued an official statement addressing the rumors.

Raja’s remarks, however, make it clear that she wants no part in the speculation surrounding the cricketer’s private life.
