The Sindh government has declared a two-month waiver of fares for women utilizing the Pink Bus Service in Karachi.

The announcement was made by Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon during a ceremony marking the introduction of a new fleet of buses. The exemption was requested by PPP leader Faryal Talpur, highlighting the government's dedication to providing top-notch transportation options for women, aligning with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari's vision.

Minister Memon assured the public of the government's fulfillment of its commitments, while Talpur expressed appreciation for Memon's acceptance of her request.

In a separate announcement earlier, Minister Memon unveiled two new routes for the Pink People’s Bus Service in Karachi.

Currently operational on the R1 route, the service is expanding to include the R10 route, exclusively for women, starting from Numaish Chowrangi and ending at the Sea View clock tower.

Additionally, plans were made to launch the People’s Bus Service in Mirpurkhas.
