Gold rises Rs7,900 per tola in Pakistan

Gold rates in Pakistan moved higher on Thursday following gains in the international market.

In the local bullion market, the price of gold climbed by Rs7,900 per tola during the day, taking the new rate to Rs523,962.

The price of 10 grams of gold also recorded an increase. It was traded at Rs449,212 after rising by Rs6,773, according to figures released by the

All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association.

A day earlier, on Wednesday, gold prices had already shown an upward trend. The per tola rate reached Rs516,062 after gaining Rs1,300 during that session.
