Gold price surged by Rs5,700 in Pakistan

In both global and Pakistani markets, the price of gold surges again on Friday after four consecutive days of a hike.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-karat gold increased by Rs5,700 per tola, reaching Rs460,262.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs 4,887, settling at Rs 394,600.
However, in the international market, gold rises to $4,379 per ounce. This uptick reflects the consistent global interest in precious metals in the face of economic uncertainty and fluctuating currency trends.
Similarly, the silver price per tola of 24-karat pure surged by Rs227 to Rs7,862. The price of 10 grams of 24k pure silver saw an increase of Rs195 to be sold for Rs6,740.
