Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs900 to Rs425,036 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams also increased by Rs771 to Rs364,399, while 22-karat gold was priced at Rs334,044 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market. The price of 24-karat silver stood at Rs6,289 per tola and Rs5,391 per 10 grams.
In the international market, spot gold traded at around $4,029 per ounce, down $23.4, or 0.58%, from the previous session. The decline came as rising oil prices fuelled inflation concerns and uncertainty over the outlook for US interest rates weighed on the non-yielding precious metal.
