Gold falls by Rs6,800 per tola in Pakistan

Gold prices fell in Pakistan on Wednesday following a decline in the international bullion market.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs6,800, bringing it down to Rs470,362 in the local market.
The price of 10 grams of gold also saw a decrease of Rs5,830 and was traded at Rs403,259.
A day earlier, the price of gold per tola had remained unchanged at Rs477,162.
In the global market, gold prices declined by $68 per ounce, taking the rate to $4,480 per ounce, including a premium of $20.
Silver prices also recorded a downward trend in the local market, with the price per tola falling by Rs125 to Rs7,974.
