Gold extends gains in Pakistan amid global price hike

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded another increase on Monday, marking the continuation of a rising trend in the domestic bullion market.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs500, bringing the rate to Rs359,500.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs429, now standing at Rs308,213.

The upward trend in domestic gold prices mirrored movements in the international market, where the price of gold per ounce rose by $5 to reach $3,368.

Meanwhile, silver rates in Pakistan remained unchanged. The price of 24-karat silver stood at Rs3,953 per tola, while 10 grams were priced at Rs3,389.
