Gold declines to Rs356,200 per tola as global rates drop

Gold prices in Pakistan registered a decline on Saturday, following a downward trend in the international market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola fell by Rs900, bringing the new rate to Rs356,200. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs771, settling at Rs305,385.

In the global market, gold recorded a decline of $9 per ounce, with the price standing at $3,335.

Gold prices in Pakistan have witnessed fluctuations over the past week, largely in line with movements in the international bullion market.

Analysts link the trend to changing investor sentiment and adjustments in the global dollar index, which directly impact commodity trading.
