In a bizarre incident, a Turkish man orchestrated a prank on his ex-girlfriend by ordering food from over 50 restaurants in Izmir, all delivered to her address.

The stunt, which quickly went viral on social media, saw more than two dozen delivery riders gathered outside her apartment, leaving passersby bewildered.

According to reports, the man used fake names and a suspicious phone number to place orders through the Turkish food delivery app Yemeksepeti.

While some restaurants attempted to verify the orders by calling the number, many others didn't.

The video showed a group of 25 delivery boys waiting outside the building to collect their payments.

However, no restaurant owner approached the police to file a complaint against the suspect.

Talking to local journalists, one restaurant owner revealed that several other eateries had warned him about the fake orders, "but it was too late, and the orders were already dispatched to the address".

Most of the food was discarded, which had incurred massive losses for the businesses.
