Muslim family harassed in India's UP, colours thrown

A person was arrested and three were detained in Indian State of Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor on Sunday for harassing a Muslim family by forcibly applying colours on them.
The police action came after a viral video showed some men forcefully applying colours and throwing water at a Muslim family who were passing through the area on a motorbike.
In the visuals, the family on the bike can be seen resisting the men as they apply colours to them.

According to the police, the incident happened on Wednesday, March 20, in the Dhampur area of the city.
The man on the bike was going to visit a doctor along with his wife and mother to get medicine when the Holi revellers surrounded them.
The arrested accused has been identified as Anirudh, a resident of Dhampur area. The police are on the lookout for other people seen in the video.
