A disturbing incident occurred in India, where a man who was addicted to drugs set his father on fire during a heated argument at their home.

According to Indian police officials, 28-year-old Tirupati Anurag poured petrol on his 54-year-old father, Tirupati Ravinder, and ignited it.

The tragic event unfolded as Anurag and his father argued passionately about Anurag's desire for a bike. The dispute escalated, and Anurag, who had stored two bottles of petrol, used one to douse his father.

While Ravinder was having lunch, Anurag poured petrol on him, prompting him to flee from the first floor for his life, with his son in pursuit.

"Anurag also struck Ravinder's head with a stone before igniting the fire with a lighter," stated S. Raghavender Reddy, the circle inspector at Adibatla Police Station.

Afterward, Anurag confined his mother in a room and fled after changing his shirt. Reports suggest that the accused may be mentally unstable, possibly due to his addiction to 'Ganja.'

However, local Indian police gathered evidence from the crime scene and launched an investigation.
