Enraged citizens set dacoits on fire after catching them red-handed while robbing women in New Karachi.

Fed up with daily robberies, citizens in distress first targeted the dacoits who were robbing and fleeing with women, subjected them to severe torture, and then set them on fire with petrol.

The dacoits were injured in the fire and taken into custody by the police.

The police say that weapons and mobile phones were also recovered from the suspects who became the target of violence, and investigations into the incident are underway.

According to the police, the detained dacoits have been identified as Abdullah and Shahzaib, and two pistols, 30 bore magazines, and a motorcycle have been recovered from their possession. The motorcycle was stolen from Surjani Town, and a case has been registered.

According to the police, the criminal record of the suspect Shahzaib has also been obtained. Shahzaib was previously arrested from Iqbal Market Police Station. Cases are being registered against the suspects, and efforts are underway to identify the individuals involved in the attempt to burn the dacoits.

The police say that legal action will also be taken against the citizens involved in setting fire after identification.
