While, clearing the Competitive Examination (CSS) amounts to moving mountains and once this feat is achieved by somebody, it is by all odds a moment of pride for the whole family. Now just imagine if five siblings in a family pass one of the toughest examinations of their country how much the family and friends would be over the moon.

Well, it has no more been imaginative now as Sher sisters hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have made it happen with Zoha Malik Sher becoming the fifth one this year to pass her CSS exams, thus setting a record.

The other four sisters who have already done it and are currently serving in different public departments are Laila Malik Sher (2008), who is serving as a deputy commissioner regional tax office Islamabad, Shireen Malik Sher (2010), who is head of section in the cabinet division, Sassi Malik Sher (2017), who is serving in Military Lands & Cantonments Group and Marvi Malik Sher (2017), who is posted in PMS group.

Let’s see where the fate of Zoha Malik Sher takes her now.

Out of more than 14, 500 candidates who appeared this year for the exams, just 372 could ace it. So, the passing percentage further dropped to 2.56 percent, from the percentage which was once maintained few years back – 9 percent.

The candidates who have passed the exam will now be called for medical test, psychological assessment and viva voce, before the final interview.

The CSS exams are not a cake walk. There are a plethora of educational centres that provide guidance for the competitive exams, nonetheless it requires complete dedication and hard work to pass it. There are people who make preparations for this for years together but still they cannot clear it.
