Provincial governments across the country have enforced a complete ban of Youm-e-Ali (RA) processions, but have allowed indoor Majalis to take place amid lockdown restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Home Departments have allowed Majalis to take place at home and Imambarghas. Majalis held at these two locations are subject to conditions.
The time period of holding Majalis should be an hour maximum and administration involved should be enforcing these rules strictly. The participants of the Majalis should limit their distance with each other to six feet.
As per details, children, people above fifty years old and the sick should not go to attend the Majalis. The floors of the Imambargha should be washed and disinfected before holding Majalis.
People participating in the Majalis should perform ablution from home. It is compulsory for everyone to wear masks and hand gloves. During Majalis, hand-shaking and embracing each other should refrain.
