The morning show host Nida Yasir and actor Yasir Nawaz have donated their plasma to help patients with coronavirus in critical condition.
The couple recuperated from COVID-19 recently.
The couple arrived at the facility on Saturday after they recovered from the virus, according to a post from his Twitter account from Dow University of Health Sciences.
Yasir has appealed to his fans in another post on his Instagram to donate their plasma and save lives.
“I am making this video to appeal to those people who are familiar with me or give even the slightest weight to my words, to donate their plasma,” he said.
“This is an act of kindness. By the grace of God you managed to make it out through testing times. So it’s your duty now to donate your plasma to serve humanity.”
Nida Yasir confirmed on May 25 that she, her husband and daughter had tested positive for the virus and were isolating at home.
