Writ filed against TikTok at Peshawar High Court

PESHAWAR: A writ has been filed at the Peshawar High Court seeking ban on TikTok application.

The petitioner said that whatever was happening on TikTok was not allowed in Islam and our society. TikTok was the cause of spoiling the society and increasing obscenity.

Petitioner Ismat Asim filed the writ through advocate Sarah Ali. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), Federal Investigation Agency, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority and the ministries of information and law were made party in the writ.
