The World Health Day is celebrated every year on April 7 to recognise the widespread contributions of our medical faculty.
The day is celebrated in order to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization.
Every year, the theme of the World Health Day changes. However, the theme of World Health Day 2021 is Building a fairer, healthier world.
Moreover, the themes in the previous years were, Supporting Nurses And Midwives (2020), Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere (2019), Universal Health Coverage: Everywhere (2018), Depression: Let’s Talk (2017) and Diabetes (2016).
