World Cancer Day is being observed today

The World Cancer day is being observed on 4th February (today) to spread awareness and to reduce the global impact of cancer.

The aim of celebrating World Cancer Day is to bring an end to the misconception about cancer and to provide the accurate information to lower down the disease.

Moreover, cancer is one of the deadliest diseases. Some of the type from which people are effected are lung, breast, cervical, head and neck and colorectal cancer (CRC).

The theme for World Cancer Day 2021 is ‘I Am and I Will.’ It is a multi-year campaign that began in 2019 and this year will mark the last year.
