“Won’t wait a minute to dissolve assembly if Imran Khan orders,” warns Punjab CM

“Won’t wait a minute to dissolve assembly if Imran Khan orders,” warns Punjab CM

A day after PTI chairman Imran Khan announced to resign from the all provincial assemblies, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi warned that he wouldn’t “wait for a minute” to dissolve the Punjab Assembly if the former prime minister asks him.

Taking to twitter, Pervez Elahi said, “I owe the Punjab government to Imran Khan. We stand with those whom we support.”

He further said that when the mass resignations come from the provincial assemblies then the 27 km government of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will not be able to run for 27 hours.

The Punjab CM added that Imran Khan’s plan entered its “decisive round” during the Rawalpindi jalsa on Saturday and that once the PTI and its allies start resigning from the assemblies, the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) government would start falling on its own.

“The PML-N leader are not stopping from telling lies, you will understand that something is going to happen to you that even your generations will remember,” Elahi warned.

He said that religion will rule in this country, and there will be projects that will benefit the common man and his children.

Punjab CM announced that the cancer treatment will be free of cost in the province.

Earlier on November 26, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has announced that his party has decided not to become part of the country’s current political system and to resign from all the provincial assemblies.

He further added that instead of creating havoc, PTI has decided to walk out of the assemblies. However, Khan said that he will announce the exact date in next few days.

It is pertinent to mentioned here that PTI is in power in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
