Won’t accept technocrat government: Fawad Chaudhry

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior vice-president Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday said that the party would not accept the technocrat government in the country.
While addressing the press conference in Islamabad, PTI leader said the party lawmakers have appeared before the Speaker National Assembly Raja Parvez Ashraf for resignations, but he escaped.
Talking about the recent wave of terrorism in Pakistan, Fawad said that the increase in terror attacks have increased by 52 percent but ruling government has no interest to resolve the issue. He added that Taliban warned parliamentarians by making video from Margalla Hills.
He said that if the situation in Afghanistan deteriorates, it will also affect Pakistan and ‘we cannot fight with every neighboring country.’
Referring to the establishment’s role in politics, Fawad Chaudhry said that the establishment made a mistake by ousting the PTI government. He added that it would be their second mistake if they impose technocrat government for next two-and-a-half year.
He warned to oppose the technocrat government saying, “The country cannot afford experiments and if technocrats government will imposed on us then PTI will resist.”
Former federal minister furthered that economic stability will come after the political stability in the country.
