KURRAM: Women Police Reporting Centre has been established for the first time in tribal areas in Kurram district to ensure swift provision of justice to women.

District Police Officer Muhammed Quresh inaugurated the office. Tribal elders and leaders of religious and political parties were also present on this occasion.

Quresh said for the first in tribal history, a women police reporting centre was established to resolve issues of women. He said 50 lady constables would be hired at district level in Kurram.
