Former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s daughter, Bakhtwar Bhutto Zardari’s mehndi-picture has gone viral which has rose the henna artist Ume-Kulsoom to fame.
According to Ume-Kulsoom, Bakhtawar’s aunt recommended her for mehndi application for which Sabeen, Bakhtawar’s cousin contacted Kulsoom.
“Applying mehndi to such a noted personality is an honour for me. I was extremely under pressure but the kind response that I received from Bakthtawar and her family calmed me a lot,” said Kulsoom.
Bakhtawar herself preferred an Ajrak design for her mehndi, she relayed during a program of ARY News.
Moreover, Kulsoom revealed that she was not able to capture the pictures of mehndi as the mobile phones were taken from her and her team due to security concern.
However, Bakhtawar made a thanks call to Kulsoom and told her that she would make sure that Kulsoom was tagged on her social media platform with the picture of her mehndi.
Kulsoom is a Karachi-based henna artist who has been in this profession since 14 years .
