LAHORE: Lahore police on Tuesday spoke out about the allegations made against Babar Azam saying that no solid evidence was provided in the case so far. The woman who accused the Pakistani skipper didn’t provide valid proofs to support her statements.
During today’s court hearing, the investigation officer presented the probe report before the judge which apprised that the case was filed in 2017, however evidence were found not to be enough to prove the allegations true.
According to Hamiza, the woman who accused Babar Azam for manipulating her to get an illegal relationship with him and tortured when she commanded to marry her, tried to lodge a case in the Pakistan Cricket Board, though they didn’t take her complaint’s notice.
Hamiza also claims that last week she became a victim of murder attempt and has been receiving life threatening phone calls. For this reason she filed an FIR and demanded personal security from President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran khan.
