Woman throws acid on husband’s face in Karachi

KARACHI: A woman has burnt face of her husband with acid while he was asleep in Karachi’s Azizabad area on Sunday.

According to police, Farhan and Farzana had tied the knot some 17 years ago out of love. The have six children. About eight months ago they had a domestic dispute which intensified and the woman went to her parents’ house after getting angry with him. None of them tried to resolve the issue to live together.

Relative of the victim said Farzana threw acid on Farhan’s face which also affected her children who was sleeping with him. Farhan’s brother alleged that Farzana had once before attacked his brother.
