Woman dies of heart attack during police raid in Karachi’s Lyari
A woman died of heart attack during a raid conducted by police in Lyari Town area of Karachi on Friday.
The police authorities said that the house was raided on the tip of the presence of the wanted suspect and the suspect tried to flee from the spot.
During the raid, the clash broke out between suspect and the policemen, due to which the woman got panicked and suffered a heart attack which claimed her life.
In February 2022, police officers dressed in plain clothes and uniforms entered a house in Federal B area by placing a ladder.
They had detained a man named Aziz and his son, during the raid the wife of Aziz died due to heart attack.
Later, the son informed the Yousuf Plaza police about the whole situation and started preparing for his mother’s burial.
The police released detained man Aziz near the Sabzi Mandi area of Karachi after they know came to know about the incident.
In September 2021, a prisoner had died at a police station in Karachi and the family blamed the cops for killing him extra-judicially.
According to details, the suspect had been arrested in an injured condition by Hyderi police four days back and after being presented before the court he died under mysterious circumstances.
At the time of his death, he was being interrogated by Orangi Town police.
