KOHAT: A woman of Kohat, Rahat Ul Ain has alleged that Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Science & Technology and Information Zia Ullah Bangash sexually harassed her.

A video, in which the woman has levelled the allegations on Zia Ullah Bangash, has gone viral on social media, in which she has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to take notice of the issue and strict action against the culprits for harassing her.

However, Zia Ullah has denied the allegations and a legal notice seeking Rs50 million has been sent by his team for defamation. He has further demanded an apology from the accuser.

According to the report submitted to the Provincial Government, Rahat ul Ain worked with Zia Ullah Bangash in an NGO ten years ago but after being elected as MPA, Bangash started to distance himself from the woman.

Moreover, Rahat Ul Ain has also revealed about the monetary dispute with the owner of a rent a car center in Kohat. She said that the owner, Ubaid, was not refunding the money that she gave him for business. “Ubaid and Zia Ullah both have teamed up to harass her,” she further claimed.

The notice issued to the accuser stated that the lady has uploaded a video of unfounded allegations as Zia Ullah Bangash didn’t even know the lady and had had no interaction with any person named Ubaid.
