ISLAMABAD: With 20 new ones, 301 coronavirus deaths have been reported, while the number of confirmed coronavirus infection cases in Pakistan has soared to 14,079.
According to the National command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the confirmed cases include Punjab 5,640, Sindh 4,956, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 1,984, Balochistan 853, Islamabad Capital Territory 261, Gilgit-Baltistan 320, and Azad Kashmir 65.
So far, 3233 have been recovered, while 69 are currently in critical condition.

NCOC is launching Tracking, Testing & Quarantine strategy to encourage public to work together with the government in fight against Covid-19 in the country.
The basic aim of this strategy is based on encouraging citizens to cooperate with government agencies in tracing people with Covid-19 symptoms and travel history. It will also inculcate confidence in the public about government’s efforts and activities against the corona virus pandemic.
Minister for Defence production Zubaida Jalal in her message advised citizens to stay at home, wear face mask and gloves and strictly follow SOPs of social distancing.
