 Wildlife Department foils attempt to smuggle wild animals

On Monday, the Wildlife Department arrested two men for smuggling wild animals and birds during a raid in Girjakhi Gate.

According to details, the timely raid by the Wildlife Department foiled an attempt of smuggling wild animals and arrested two men who used to smuggle birds and animals to Sindh and Punjabi.

As per reports, 21 Greylag goose, three wild Chakur, two black Perdicinae and wild animals’ meat were recovered during the raid.

The Judicial Magistrate fined Rs 10,000 to each accused and ordered to put auction on the recovered birds.
