Wife kills husband for social media friend
KARACHI: The East Investigation Department has arrested the wife and her accomplice involved in the murder of her husband using sophisticated methods, the accused have made sensational revelations.
According to sources, the East Investigation Police have solved the case of indiscriminate killing.
According to the East Investigation, the accomplice of the accused has also been arrested. The accused made sensational revelations during the interrogation.
Police said, the wife foolishly killed her husband in a movie style. On June 27, 2021, a young man named Joshua went to drink juice with his wife. After drinking the juice, Joshua became ill and died.
Joshua’s father lodged a case at Gulshan police station on suspicion of his son’s tragic death.
During the interrogation, the accused said that they had befriended on Instagram a year and a half ago. They planned to kill Joshua when they became close, for which the accused sent a chocolate and a ladies sandal to Karachi by courier. The poison called phosphine was hidden in the heel of the ladies sandal.
Police added that as soon as they reached the juice center, the wife mixed poison in her husband’s juice and Joshua died. The post-mortem report also found evidence of poisoning.
