Why Umer Sharif’s wife Zareen spent hours in Germany’s police station?

Comedian Umer Sharif and his wife Zareen Ghazal, who are travelling to the US in an air ambulance, had to spend at least four hours at a police station near Nuremberg Airport during a stopover in Germany.
The air ambulance was to make its first stopover at Nuremberg Airport in Germany after departure from Karachi.
The ambulance company admitted Umar Sharif to the Nuremberg hospital for further medical examination.
Whereas, Zareen Ghazal, did not have a German visa and for this reason she could not leave the airport and could not take care of her husband in the hospital.
However, Zareen Ghazal referred to the police station near Nuremberg Airport and spent about four hours over there.
After a lengthy procedure, Zareen Ghazal received an emergency visa and she rushed to the hospital.
Talking to Geo News, Zareen Ghazal said that the air ambulance would take Omar Sharif to the next destination on the Wednesday morning (today).
Earlier, the Sindh government announced to bear complete expenditures for treatment of veteran comedian and actor Umar Shareef.
Hum News quoted Sindh Culture Minister Sardar Shah as saying that Umar Shareef could get treatment from any hospital anywhere and the provincial government would help him. He said the government would bear complete expenditures.

He said the comedian was a national asset and he was saddened to learn about his ailment. “Our best wishes are with him. Hopefully, he will get well soon,” he said.
Meanwhile, Indian film comedy king Johnny Lever has expressed his best wishes for the speedy recovery of the Pakistani comedian.
According to a report, actor Johnny Lever shared a video on social media in which he said that he was saddened to hear about the illness of Umar Shareef, who made the whole world laugh.
The Indian actor expressed his best wishes for Umar Shareef and appealed to his fans to pray for the Pakistani comedian’s speedy recovery.
He has been suffering from an illness for some time now. Umar’s son Jawad had said that his father was suffering from a heart disease and was undergoing treatment for which he was admitted to the hospital.
