 Which Pakistani celebrities made it to “Top 50 Asian Stars” list?

Renowned stars from the Pakistan showbiz industry have made it to the list of “Top 50 Asian Stars” released by Britain’s Asian weekly newspaper, Eastern Eye.

A total of eight Pakistani artists managed to make into the list. These Pakistani celebrities were recognized on both national and international levels for their contributions to the entertainment industry.

Take a look at the Pakistani showbiz stars featured in the list of “Top 50 Asian Artists”.

Fawad Khan

After the massive success of the mega film “The Legend of Maula Jatt”, Fawad Khan came in second place on the list. The Humsafar actor also made his international debut this year alongside Mehwish Hayat in the Marvel Comics hit series, Ms Marvel.

Atif Aslam

The world-renowned singer Atif Aslam who also made his television debut this year in the drama serial Sang e Mah ranked number 13 on the list. He is the most streamed Pakistani singer of 2022.

Sajal Aly

The versatile actor of the Pakistan showbiz industry Sajal Aly who recently made her international debut in Jemima Goldsmith’s romantic comedy film “What’s Love Got to Do With It”? received the 16th rank on the list.

Arooj Aftab

Arooj Aftab became the first Pakistani female musician who has won the award for Best Global Music Performance for her song ‘Mohabbat’ at the highest Grammy Awards. The vocalist made it to rank 38 on the list.

The music sensation has also achieved another milestone by receiving the President’s Pride of Performance Award. 

Hadiqa Kiani

The signer turned actress Hadiqa Kiani who received an immense amount of appreciation for her incredible acting skills this year ranked 40 on the list. Not only this but the artist was also lauded for her humanitarian efforts for flood victims in Pakistan.

Humayun Saeed

Pakistan’s very own Humayun Saeed who was seen as Dr Hasnat in the popular Netflix series “The Crown” ranked at number 45 in the list.

Ali Sethi and Shae Gill

The magical voices behind the global hit song “Pasoori”, Ali Sethi and Shae Gill also made it to the list and ranked at number 46 on the list.
