WhatsApp will stop working on some Apple devices next month

A new report suggests that the WhatsApp will stop supporting older versions of Apple’s iOS software as early as October this year.

Apple is set to introduce the iPhone 14 this week, after which it will end support for WhatsApp on older mobiles next month.

According to the report, WhatsApp will no longer be available on iPhones running Apple’s iOS 11 operating system by the end of October.

The top iPhones with iOS 11 include iPhone 5 and 5C Pro, both phones will not be able to use WhatsApp after October 24.

Almost all the Apple phones introduced after the above mentioned two phones run on iOS 12 or an upgraded operating system.

Although Apple has announced to end WhatsApp support from older iPhones, the company had already stopped giving updates to iOS 11 phones.

The operating system on these phones is no longer given any software updates or security updates, so now WhatsApp support is also being removed, besides few other apps cannot be run on such phones.

Even earlier, the support of WhatsApp was also terminated on mobiles running on old operating systems of Samsung, including older iPhone mobiles.
